Review
I really like the book because it has helped explain how different characters are linked and the Myths are written in such a way that my 2 kids are totally fine reading them by themselves (well some of the names are really hard to pronounce but we don’t stress over that). ― offamily learning together

Description:
The Brothers Grimm rediscovered a host of fairy tales, telling of princes and princesses in their castles, witches in their towers and forests, of giants and dwarfs, of fabulous animals and dark deeds. This selection of their folk tales was made and translated by Lucy Crane, and includes firm favourites such as Rapunzel, The Goose Girl, Sleeping Beauty, Hansel and Gretel and Snow White. It is illustrated throughout by Walter Crane's charming line drawings.
About the Authors:
The Brothers Grimm, Jacob (1785-1863) and Wilhelm Grimm (1786-1859), were German academics best known for publishing collections of folk tales and fairy tales, which became popular. Jacob also did academic work in linguistics, related to how the sounds in words shift over time (Grimm's law), and together they wrote a German dictionary. They are among the best-known story tellers of folk tales from Europe, and their work popularized such tales as "Rumpelstiltskin"(German: Rumpelstilzchen), "Snow White", "Sleeping Beauty", "Rapunzel", "Cinderella"(German: Aschenputtel), "Hansel and Gretel (German: Hänsel und Gretel)", and "The Frog Prince"(German: Der Froschkonig).
